The last "night out" I remember was Conquering BGC . Others after were just the in-between's of running errands. Day 103 : Conquering BGC
Spontaneous trips have that thrilling effect and yes, today went better than expected. I've been sick for days a sick person would normally just stay at home and rot in bed. Today just seemed like a perfect day to claim that I am healed, hence I removed the "sick" label for a while. The itinerary was pretty simple - ice cream, books, dinner, and coffee. Day 97 : Ohana, Ohana.
Weekly dates, random date nights - I feel spectacular with this little girl. Back in those days I wasn't working yet, our room was our own adventure island. We'd work on DIY projects together, have breakfast on the floor on weekends or have a little Alice in Wonderland kind of set up, go for a nonstop series marathon while feasting on pizza or burgers and fries, sometimes just spend long hours talking while having hot cocoa. Day 65 : Family Nights
Have I mentioned that my dad is finally home already after 7 long months? It's only been two weeks since he arrived yet it feels as if he never left. I can't believe it's been 7 months since he left. Day 16 : Visions & Breakfast
Attending an early morning mass is always a great way to start the day, and is a perfect weekender. I was at peace knowing that God is glorified through the Eucharist. While praying at the cross, I suddenly had the worst scenario flashing in my mind - being in Team Middleware, and having a graveyard shift. My heart couldn't stop pounding, and I held back my tears. I'm a single mom who was once dead to depression but now alive in Christ.
