#162 : Let Love Grow, Let Love Be
Let this be the beginning of another chapter of our lives, side by side, hand in hand; two for, and against; together, in every milestone; together, in good and bad days, from worse to having better, overcoming the worst and celebrating the best "It's not perfect, but we're getting there" After all, to strive for perfection is having Him in the center. God is love, and love is God. ...and we are learning to be more like Him, we are growing as we strive for this goal, we are '…
#155 : The Kind of Love that's Beautiful
In a world where superficial pseudo-relationships are a trend and how fast the pace of dating is, it's almost easy to have a stained view of love. Most often than not, this trial-and-error phase some people are into, leave hearts broken or leave a mark of emptiness once it's over. Our hearts are most often compromised when testing compatibility. Some people are only in it while the benefits last, while things are interesting and going well, or until they feel it's worth continuing. In most cases, two people just enjoy the benefits …
Day 143 : What About LOVE?
Backtrack : Mid December "A dream is a wish your heart makes when you're fast asleep. No matter how your heart is beating, the dream that you wish will come true" I witnessed four types of love, listed in order of 'understanding': - the Disney kind of love ( specifically pertaining to Beauty and the Beast, Poccahontas, Shrek, Mulan, Rapunzel, Frozen) that makes you believe in perfect timing, that love can conquer all, that love can be magical, that love can be genuine and true; - the Nicholas Sparks kind of love…
Day 131 : The Heart He Holds
When I feel like I am a failure, when I feel like losing track of my dreams, when I feel beaten, when I feel as if the world is too cruel, I remind myself to be still before the Lord. I pray, redirect my thoughts, and I read through posts HERE , including two of the most beautiful poems below that are very close to my heart. These are my guiding principles, that sum up what I greatly desire to be. I am a work in progress, and definitely have stumbled a lot of times because I am only human, but because God is ever so loving and merciful, I a…
Day 129 : About Time All Over Again
Read about my first attempt here : About Love, About Time If there's such a thing as "comfort food", this be my "comfort movie". This is one of the many things I am most certain of - I can watch this movie again, and again, and never get tired of it. There are times it feels like the first time, there are times it touches my soul very deeply in a different way, there are times I just can't help but smile and cry and laugh and dream. . . still dream. Just like Tim, for me - it's always going to be about love.…
I'm a single mom who was once dead to depression but now alive in Christ. My mother named me "BEA PATRICIA", and I will spend the rest of my life living by what it means : "voyager, bringer of joy; noble", for the Lord says "I have called you by name, you are mine". It is my life's purpose to make Him known and my heart's desire to share to the world how His Wonder can be pursued in life's seasons, moments, and soulful spaces. || Walk in faith, walk in Wonder.
