Looking at the date, it seems as if time's running too slow. Ahh, can't I just have a remote control and press Fast Forward - skipping the long wait? That would be nice, but it wouldn't be that great either.
Fully bloomed roses start out as an ugly closed bud, grows slightly bigger as thorns grow, and finally opens its petals for the world to see. . . but the thorns will have to be cut out first before the rose becomes part of a beautiful bouquet.
Waiting is the part where you get too conscious of the time; the part where you experience the pain of not having what you want at that very moment; the part where you strive convincing yourself to hold on to your faith that you will have what you want in God's time; the part where you grow tired but still push yourself a little more through reminding yourself of the reasons why you want what you want.
God's Delays are Never Denials.
This phase of my life needs a good song to make it more dramatic and powerful at the same time. Here's John Waller's lyrics of his song "While I'm Waiting"
I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait
I will move ahead, bold and confident
Takeing every step in obedience
While I'm waiting
I will serve You
While I'm waiting
I will worship
While I'm waiting
I will not faint
I'll be running the race
Even while I wait
I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it's not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it's not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve you while I'm waiting
